Thats awesome. I try turning people onto sewing because I know how much I enjoy it and I know how relaxing it is. One of my good friends started sewing after hanging out at my house when both of our husbands were deployed. Now that my husband is out of the Army (medically retired) and her husband is once again deplyed I hope she pulls the machine out now that I am gone and remembers those long nights sitting and talking about nothing while the machine punched out stitches.

I still hate buying fabric because I can not match or cordinate fabrics to save my life. One would think I was color blind, and prints scare me! lol

Good for you. I am still trying to talk one of my daughters into giving it a try. they say "someday...", I say someday I will be gone but find someone else to help you.
