You have to be like the movie character Diego in Ice Age 2, and say to yourself, I will cut the fabric. Either that, or buy two of each kind.

I started out with fat quarters for my very first project, and I'm hooked on them. Even when I buy fabric by the yard, I find myself cutting them into FQs :)

Step 10: Have another couple shots of Jack Danials and have a little talk with the fat quarter about why you have to cut it up
Step 11: Carefully cut up all your fat quarters for this project inbetween shots of Jack Danials.
Step 12: Wake up with hangover and wish those danged fat quarters would quit crying
    ROTFL!!!

i read on here recently that someone would buy fabric they really liked, and then they didn't want to cut it. Well, that's about the way I am with my fat quarters. I buy my yardage, but I am ADDICTED to fat quarters. I'll start to make something and then think, "Oh, that's one of my favorite pieces." Well, prices are going up tomrrow. Gotta go to my lqs.
