I agree with all the comments! My DD gets these neat Avon large zipper bags; I've been using them to store my UFOs. I believe these UFOs keep us young; who can die with so much to sew?

I made myself a "rule" "no more than 3 projects at a time" -- then I changed it to " no more than 3 of any one kind" -- then I just gave up and said no more than I can pack away in a large box for "when I have time and nothing to do"

Why do I think I am fooling myself ?? -- but it's a lot of fun

Yes dear, I'm afraid it's part of the addiction. Of course, the up-side is that you'll always have something to do...

Join the club. I have several unfinished projects. I love piecing the quilt top but don't like the actual quilting. I don't have a machine to do machine quilting and hand quilting takes so, so long, that I like to move on to the next project. I have made several rag quilts because I can get them done in a weekend.
Do whatever you enjoy and you will learn as you go.

It just gets worse. I'm already thinking about Christmas. I have enough 8 1/2 inch squares cut out for 7 jean quilts. That is 560 squares. I also make tote bags out of them and pocket purses with the pockets. I take all the thread out of them and sew them with bright pink, red and green. I use the side seems from the jeans for the strap on the purse. Also I sew cute buttons on the front. The kids love them. When I get my film to the store I will put pictures on here. I still have a 35mm

Just remember making quilts is for fun! Spread the fun around! I tried to always finish my quilts, but now I just keep piecing new tops. I figure that I will use them someday, and there they will be!

Oh, I like your jean pocket wall hanging idea! As for one project at a time, that never seems to work for me, lol. I wouldn't worry about it too much, goes with the territory it seems. Besides, when you want something finished, or need it for a gift or something, then you will have the desire to finish it! That, works for me!....

Please share of pic of your jean pocket project when you can, would love to see it!
