i have two tubs of scraps. since i'm moving, i'm going to sort through these to try to get them down to just one tub. while doing that, i want to find scraps to find pieces to make log cabin chickens.

As soon as I get Sunday school and Sunday morning chores done, I'm going to start putting together 120 blocks for my log cabin quilt. I'm doing a quilt as you go and I stayed up to 12:30 last night completing the STID on the last 20 blocks. The fun starts today when the quilt starts going together!

I am currently working on a small wall hanging with fishing as the theme. It is nearly done. I do not want to show it yet as that would let the cat out of the bag. The thread I bought yesterday will allow me to finish up this project. It is 12:15 here and I am now going to the sewng room to wind the bobbins.

Boscobd ~ Lovely quilt! Great cause.
Ranchwife ~ I have two UFOs that might lend themselves to QAYG, but I haven’t decided yet whether or not I want to chance it. One of them will be quite large, so it sounds like it would be lots easier.
There are lots of really neat projects going on here.
I finished sewing on the binding on my project, so want to spend some time with the hand stitching. It’s only 10 a.m. here, so there’s time.

I'm trying to finish up a string quilt I started back when I had double cataract surgery. I call it the "one eyed wonder" because I started it between surgeries and I had only one good eye lol. Since distance vision was perfect in one eye, i just covered one side of a pair of reading glasses and off I went. Need 80 blocks have 60 done.
