It's Virtual Quilt Day!! Today - Sunday, February 17, 2013
#92
Today I worked on several different projects. First, I put all of the blocks for my Jenny Doan Big Star quilt on my design wall and numbered them so that I can start adding the sashing tomorrow. Next, I started sewing together the blocks on my queen size Craftsy Chain of Stars Mystery Quilt. I finished all but the last 2 rows. Finally, I did hand embroidery on a block for a Redwork quilt. I love the Virtual Quilting Day! It is such fun to see the beautiful things everyone is making!

Well I 've corrected the B blocks with the mistakes. All of the blocks in step 8 of Easy Street are done. I 've got to go back and assemble the triangle blocks in Step 7 then I'll be ready to put it all together. This has been my first mystery quilt and I've enjoyed it. I used Bonnie's colors and my granddaughter has already claimed it.

Tonight all! Today I managed to finish my Dallas cowboy quilt. After I take pictures, I can mail it out next week. Then I squared the baby quilt and will set it up to be quilted. I rearranged my sewing room and have my next few projects ready to continue to sew for next week. I would sent pics, but haven't figured out how to send a pic yet. Next month project. It's bed time now, so good night all, and I enjoyed sewing with you all today. Bye!

I made placemats today for my sister. Heart blocks (day late, dollar short - as usual) in pink and red. Just three. Going to stitch in the ditch, and bind them tomorrow. Hopefully give them to her tomorrow also. Pieced parts of those same blocks, some smaller, in different fabrics, and pinned borders for a nine patch (on point) table runner too.
AND made good supper! ;0)
goodnight talented ladies!

It's Monday morning here, but you all were so busy since I last checked in! Everyone's projects are amazing! You all are such an inspiring group of quilters. It is so wonderful to see what you have all accomplished. Kudos to all! I will be back sewing right after coffee this morning. Can't wait for the next virtual quilt day!
