Yippee! The quilting is finished & I have the binding ready to sit & do the hand stitching later, I'm very pleased with what I've accomplished so far... as most of the time I have had my little pug "grand dog" sitting on my knee! I made most of these stars on my featherweight while we traveled to Yellowstone & over to Shipshewana camping last summer.

I'm here, I'm here... I forgot to check in this morning! I've been busy on baby's quilt and forgot all about checking in! I thought I would be to the quilting stage today. Unfortunately, I ran out of my sashing fabric and had to find a 'make do' fabric for the outer sashing strips. So that's where I'm at today, adding the final 2 rows of outer sashing... then onto the sandwiching, basting and quilting...

I thought I would join you for some quilting )
I just finished FMQ the centre part of my Aunt Minnie's Tile. Made it years ago and was intimidated by it's size as far as quilting it goes. Will work on the outside border after a coffee break.
As you can see I had a helper.

This quilt is really pretty. So simple, yet stunning at the same time!

Default Item number one done

Finished the first item on today's list. My DD had some left over hexagons from a Day of the Dead quilt she made for my grandson and his wife. So, voila, I made some pot holders. It was a challenge to bind them but I figured it out.

Wow, so much progress and such lovely quilts happening today. I just finished putting together the quilt top I cut out before Christmas. This was going to be my mother's Xmas gift, but then I decided I liked another pattern better for her and this got put aside. Now it's done and ready for quilting. Pic is sideways, but I hope you can tell what it is anyway. The geese are flying up.

Wow! Great progress everyone! I am sick and slept through virtual quilting day - boo hoo. Now that I am ready to do something, I have decided to join as a "virtual cleaner", as having a clean apartment allows me to feel comfortable quilting when the mood strikes. As part of cleaning, I will also be setting up my quilting corner and (hopefully) be organizing my stash.

Keep up the good work everyone!
