There is soooo much inspiration on here today!!! Oh my everyone is working very hard!!! This is sure fun having a virtual quilt day! It feels like I have fellow quilters in my sewing room!!

BTW: Thank you sew much for the kind comments on my baby quilt. I forgot to include the block on the bottom right row is where baby's name will go... 'This little Golden Book belongs to...' I will still include a quilt label on the back with all the info.

I finished my first-ever quilt today, a lap quilt pattern I found online that inspired me to try my hand at quilting

And yes, Bentley helped pretty much the whole time.

MKC - What a great job you did on your first quilt. Wonderful choice of colors!
Maybe you've now caught the quilting bug. I hope so )

Block one of Prairie Chicken. Don't know yet if it is one of 25 blocks or one of 36. Depends on how it will look on laid out on the bed at 25 blocks. The blocks finish at 18 inches without the sashing. I decided I am going to go with the solid black sashing and light cornerstones. The original pattern showed a scrappy sashing but I like the solid black better. Thanks QuiltingaddictUK for the pattern.

I'm done with zig-zagging all my tubes together for my hobo bag! Too late to do more now, but I'll get it done this week. Sorry I can't send a photo because it's very pretty. Thanks for sharing, everyone! I really enjoy seeing your projects.

Good evening everyone. I found you! I have been working on the birthday hat all day and here is what I have finished. I havent sewn in years so there are some corrections to make first and then to decorate it with butterflies.

Didn't really have quilting planned for the weekend but ended up working on a baby quilt. I have almost all of the blocks sewn together then need to finish putting them all together, using the Yellow Brick Road pattern. Haven't worked on anything in ages between work and taking college classes so this has really been fun!
