In the past 2 days I have quilted 2 quilts. I cleaned my sewing room good and found a few tops I had made several years ago that I had forgotten about! Sound familiar anyone? LOL
I will be quilting another one today. I will post pics when I get them done so stay tuned and watch for them in pics section in a few days if you'd like to see what I have been doing.

Isn't it a great feeling when you finish a project? My quilt machine was dead in the water for a couple days/week so decided to pull out some UFOs. Got a skirt put together, got all my batting scraps attached as one larger piece, cleaned all my machines inside and out and vacuumed the sewing rooms. Also pulled out a couple more dresses I'd cut out but never put together when I was still living in Florida so that's 4 years ago. They're sitting on the cutting table now so can't/won't start a new quilt till I have them done. Think that will be all my UFOs from Florida then............hopefully as I haven't checked all my cabinets for hidden treasures.

What kind of quilting machine do you have? You did as well as I could have done, and mine is a Gammill Classic. But I have been hiding away in a cleaning frenzy--my GS is coming up from Texas to re-do our bathroom and I have to clean up my house for him--and my sewing room so he can sleep out there. Ughhhhhhh. Too much hard work for an old lady and a lazy hubby; GKs all in school and unavailable.

OK, where are you hiding the high energy pill to do all this in 2 days? Wish I had some of that energy, but it's been a while. Congratulations though on quilting the 2 quilts AND cleaning your sewing room. Of course you found some UFO tops, I think we all have at least one tucked away somewhere. I'm looking forward to seeing those finished quilts. Congratulations on your "spring cleaning and quilting", hope I can find some of that momentum.

Jingle I am with you. I start one and finish it before I go to the next quilt project. it may take me awhile to get it finished but I prefer this method.
now I can have other sewing projects going at the same time but that's another story.
