    Good to hear your news. Thanks for sharing about the clear vinyl. I have the Supreme Slider, but you could cut the vinyl even larger. Thanks again. :thumbup:

    So happy for you.
    I also have my machine and top of the sewing table covered in heavy gauge clear vinyl. The entire quilt slides easily and doesn't get hung up on anything on the table like the edges or hinges where it is joined. I love the low price of the vinyl compared to the supreme slider and of course it covers so much more area.
    Have any FMQ tips to share other than ones you stated so far.

    It's a sheet of teflon/silicone, sort of like the pressing sheets you can get..but it is really slick, and allows the fabric to slide over the bed of the machine much easier.
    I haven't used one (cost too much for me)...I have used wax on the bed of my industrial before..helps the upholstery go through easier.

    Thanks so much. I just saw the tutorial/sales pitch and agree that it is expensive. I wondered about using a vinyl sheet with a plastic embroidery hoop too.
