    This is my Jackpot store.
I was in our local Miracle Hill Thrift Store and bought two boxes (205 pcs.) each of fat quarters (100% cotton). One box is light oxford blue and the other is white. Their price was $7.00 per box and I bargained them down to $10 for two boxes and it was accepted. Had about 8 boxes but I could only afford 2 at the time. Had a nice stash now.

What treasure! Well found, it's great when you get such a lot for so little.

Good for you! Less is always best---in prices not stash! LOL You gotta love a bargain.
I check out our thrift stores all the time--usually once a week if not more. Sometimes they have some great buys! Goodwill charges 72 cents a yard for fabric. (how they came up with that price I'll never know) I got a brand new sheet blanket to use for batting for a lightweight quilt at Salvation Army Thrift Store for only $2 the other day.

I love thrift stores! I am usually looking for fashion designer cotton skirts or dresses (I love the Ralph Lauren fabrics) or 100% cotton men's shirts in strips, plaids or plain. I very seldom find yardage at the thrift stores. Wish I did. Congrats on a great find.

I guess I need to look in the clothing more! I never thought about cutting up men's shirts but that's a good idea. I could even cut the buttons off and save them for something else. I got a beautiful deep purple blouse and a white denim jumper with purple flowers on it for DD--fit her perfectly and she wore it to church this morning. The only thing I had to do was to change the buttons on the shirt. Now I'm going to have to go back and look at the men's shirts with a new eye.
