    Lolol. Too funny! Im sorry to dissapoint you but I would have to do it with hst. Im not sure where it happened, but along the way i got terrified of the bias, and the LS is a LOT of bias!!

    Interesting. Usually I hear that it's the Y-seams that make people wary about trying it with diamonds.

    Have you ever tried the Quiltsmart LS? No bias. No small diamonds. Easy, easy!!
    Yeah, it's another expense, but the results are dynamite.
    And you can even avoid the Y-seams, if you must, when sewing the sections together.

    The one with the plain triangle in the corners will give you a single direction because there is only one "ladder." The other one will give you movement in both direction and a much more interesting secondary pattern. I believe the second one is more traditional.

    Thanks! I made this is a Karen Combs Illusions class. She taught us how to draw the cubes and we picked our own blocks to draft on graph paper. I ended up doing 12 different blocks to make an Illusions sampler. It was alot of fun.
