When I called around about the Janome 1600P I was told that they usually go for around $800.00 used.
I was also told to contact my quilt stores "Sister Store" where they usually have them in stock.
When I called they told me they had none in stock but they knew a person who was selling both the Janome 1600P and the Pennywinkle II frame. My frame is only is only 8 feet long, but I got the set for $600.00!!!!
The original receipts were with the items and they were originally bought for around $3,000.00.
Good luck! I hope you get as good a deal as I did!

Janome 1600 series machines are sold all over the internet and ebay for $799. most with free delivery.
Local machine shops here, sell them for $1100. plus tax.
Most online stores sell the new machines with the same warranty and guarantees as the local shops.
