It is an excellent price for an excellent machine. Make sure it has been serviced recently, and if not, ask for someone to give it a quick checkup before buying, just like you would before buying a car.
The Janome 6600 is a fantastic machine, you'll love the Accufeed. Good luck...enjoy your new baby once you get her.

Thank you all for your advice. I have decided to buy it and once it gets here I will take it in for a quick check up at the Janome dealer.

Holy wow, grab it and run for sure...I love love my 6600P, and it is correct in saying just make sure you correctly thread the machine...it is one sturdy machine. Janome has a great reputation....can't see you going wrong on this purchase...If a deal like that came up, I would purchase another one for sure just so I had 2

I think yes. Bought mine for $700 from a Janome dealer (my regular LQS). Mine shows some wear on the bed.

BTW- I like to call mine "experienced" as opposed to "used" :)

It's a great machine and a real workhorse. The price is a good one.

Great Price! I was quoted $1900.00 just yesterday for a new 6600P. I thought the price was a little high.
