Mic-pa, does your 10001 take the embroidery cards for the 9000? I know the 9000 can take 8000 cards. Just wondering. Some day I might like to get a Memory Craft with a larger embroidery area and was wondering if I could use my 8000 or 9000 cards in it.

Shoot, she'd better get the darn machine quick. At that price we should buy it out from under her:>

Yes my 10001 takes my 9000 memory cards but in order to do that I bought a "Card Reader" box. It runs around $300. I think. But worth every penny as I wanted to be able to use the cards. Thats was one selling point for me. mic-pa

Do you know if the newer 11,000 series is the same way-the reader box?

Yes, I got my machine. She did use it alot, and it has been sitting for the last 3 years. But does it sew. The stitches are just perfect. He even came down another $25.00
It sews so much nicer then my Husqvarna, which is newer.
I think I'm really going to love this machine.
