I just purchased the large spool stand that is made to attach on my Horizon; but the dealer didn't sell the cones of threads. Have only used Gutermann since purchasing my machine, so am wondering what you are all using if you have the larger spools or cones.
    Thanks, Nancy

From my local dealer...was quite pricey...$49; but I like that it mounts right onto the back of the machine and holds 2 spools of thread.

Ask your quilt shop. The one quilt shop i shopped at ordered it for me and sent it to me when i came in. Think it was about $10.

I bought a generic spool stand..it just stands on the desk behind my machine..or wherever I want to place it.

I use anything in my machine, so far without any problem. Haven't actually used a large spool yet...I got the stand to put small embroidery thread spools onto.

I like Superior threads, so I generally use Masterpiece or Sew Fine. I also use Bottom Line in the bobbin a lot and for paper piecing.

I use the large Signature cones as well and find they work well in my 7700.
