I'm anxious to see the Horizon as I love my 6500 but like the free arm, auto adjust plate and the auto feed features of the Horizon in particular. It seems to be available in the UK...anyone out there know if there is any chance they did a bobbin thread up feature. Some of the machines have it and would love to not have to bring it up or deal with the bird's nest if I don't.

I don't know about that but our LQS said it will be available May 1. It also has an 11-1/2 inch throat. Don't know much more yet.

It looks like it's going to be another big seller for Janome.

Looks like a nice machine. I'll be at the Machine Quilting Expo next weekend, I wonder if they'll have one there.

UK dealers are advertising it at equivalent of $2688 (£1749). Imagine it will be much less than that in the US. There is also currently a £500 trade-in allowance for any machine.

Thank You Katrine. It is more affordable than a Bernina.
