I'm guessing for the adult sewist doing anything more than replacing a seam it would be an unhappy experience, mostly because something that light is going to move all over sewing something with any weight and size to it
You could put it in a setdown space or clamp it.
Might be ok for an RV? Doing 1/2 sq triangles or something?
I wouldn't fool with it when you can get some lovely older precomputer machines for 1/2 that if you watch.

It looks a lot like the sew mini that's in my avatar. It sews fine but it's very lightweight and feels like a toy. I use mine for papercrafting and I love it for that. I wouldn't use it as a quilting machine though.
I can pick it up easily with one finger. lol
