I just did a quick search here, and found a few, some with pictures. One had light green tops. I guess one is limited only by one's imagination.

I am collecting blocks to make one. It is the Quilting Bee-one block a month swap here on the board. I have several different lids and love the variety of jars that I am receiving. Here is what I have so far.....

I am planning on making a canning jar quilt in honor of my Mom, who loved to can the veggies she grew each summer. I found this pattern, http://www.sewquilty.com/History/0012.html , and hope to make my quilt blocks this way. I have been trying to collect Farmers Market/Veggie fabric for it.

I love seeing all the quilts others have made. They are such a wonderful source of inspiration to me.

This site also has some links to other quilt blocks that I would love to make some day.

I am wanting to make one, and don't know what kind of color to make the ring out of. Can anyone help?

    Thanks, Deby
I haven't made one, but I have seen them. You could use grey or brown, or even a gold for the ring.

Yes I made my daughter a jar quilt and I used a strip print. Will show you a picture when I find it.
