    Default Jazz II keeps running

All of a sudden, my BabyLock Jazz II has started to run even when my foot is off the pedal. I have checked the food pedal and it's clean (no pins, etc) the Needle up button will stop it from running-like gremlins have gotten it there. Ideas?

When my Bernina did this it was a problem in the foot pedal. New pedal, machine gremlin fixed.

My friend Cindi had that happen. She took her foot pedal apart, it was full of dust and hair. Cleaned it out and her machine has been perfect ever since.

I had the same thing happen to mine. I brought mine in & the gal thought it was the foot pedal too but when she put the new one on it did the same thing. Turns out it was in the computer board or whatever they call it. She had never seen that before & my machine was new & only used a couple of times. Luckily, the part was under warranty or it would have been quite expensive. If it doesn't stop with a new foot pedal then it could be the same thing that happened to mine. It was definitely very rare she said. It works great now! Just another thing they may have to check.
