    Some of us gentlemen on here do a pretty fair job of piecing and quilting too. My I say if you want to learn feathers you practice drawing them out on newpsrint or some other type on non exspensive paper. that way you can build up muscle memory, and hand eye training. best thing to do is to draw a straing line and practice one side at a time. Draw half a heart and use the straight line as the stem once you gett good on each side of the stem, draw them together and learn to back tract on top of every other one. then Stitch till you are very comfortable. Remember fingers hot dogs and potato chips dont look good as feathers. heart shapes.

    LOL, you are so funny! I think all I can quilt is hot dogs and potato chip shapes,LOL!
