This is a note to those who took a class or two with our late beloved Jean Ray, passed away this past Wednesday at the great age of 82, I had the chance to attend several of her quilting retreats in Shaver Lake, I can tell you that she was one of a kind. She will be greatly missed, not only was she a great fabric artist, she was a wonderful person. :cry:

I did not know her, but I believe that I went to school with her daughter Liz, who was an amazing artist even as a high schooler. Our yearbooks are full of her artwork.
