Jelly Maker's Cabin Quilt
My daughter mentioned to me that her daughter and husband had asked her about having me piece a Jelly Maker's Cabin quilt for their son. I had never heard of the pattern but found some pictures on the internet showing the quilt in various color combinations. I am thinking that one could duplicate the pattern by looking at the pictures but wondering how large each completed block should measure. I am wondering if any board members have completed this quilt and how many different patterns of fabric they used to complete the top. It looks like a fun top to make but not sure if I should try to figure this out on my own or try to find the pattern to purchase. Would enjoy seeing pictures of this quilt that others have completed.

The following is a direct quote from the Etsy website.
"This is a fun, fast and easy quilt pattern to make using only 2 1/2 inch strips for the entire top! Finished size is approximately 52 x 76 inches."
A good picture of a larger quilt. The picture, also, has a clear view of what a block looks like and the size, due to the fact that she was still adding blocks on the bottom. I counted the strips and I believe that each block finishes at 24 inches square. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/452189618839340354/

Thanks for posting this pattern & the sites. I cut one block from pintrest image to get the design then found the post on Etsy. I have so many strips and wondered what the person that cut them was going to do with them. I have no idea what that person going to do but I am going to make several of these quilts for next year Christmas give away. I can just sew them as they are already cut. I have 4 big moving boxes of just strips. True they are not all 2.5 inch but as long as they are the same size I can adjust the overall measurements of the finished quilt. I can even do baby quilts with this pattern.

I have the pattern and a jelly roll ready to use for it as my next project, if I ever get finished with a scrappy quilt I'm working on. It says to use up to 52 strips to make this quilt....more than just a jelly roll.

I have never heard of this pattern before. A quick look on Pinterest showed a few in different colorways. Then I saw this one, totally scrappy - my fav!! https://www.pinterest.com/pin/442478732142937753/ This would work so well for the multitude of strips I have cut and would be a perfect, quick top for a charity group I work with.
