    Default Jelly Roll 1600

I put this quilt together using purple and lavender jelly rolls. Must have done something wrong. Right now the quilt is a good size if the stripes go up and down. But if I sew one more seam, it will be narrow and long enough for a basketball player! I'm not in love right now. I am going to add a narrow border then a wider one to see what that will do. I was so excited about this purple quilt. I'm sure someone will love it. I will post once it is done. I'm going to go work on an alphabet book instead of a quilt now.

Did you keep with the standard Jelly Roll pieces? .... or did you use a different number?
Changing the starting fabric would change your end size.

I have to admit that I was not thrilled with my variation of this quilt either. However it wasn't because of the size; mine turned out a pretty standard throw quilt size (can't remember exactly). I just didn't like the haphazardness of it! I used the "Dick and Jane" fabrics, and I chose a backing that I really like. I just use it with the backing side up in the living room, and it is just fine

I just put one together a few weeks back. Took long then the 30 minutes they said it would.Ended up about 46 wide and may 60 inches long.Getting ready to put a back on it. I used 2 jelly roll, each one was 20 pieces in it.
