    Hello:
Does anyone know what size a quilt will be if made with one Jelly Roll? I think that is forty strips. Quilt Fan

I have given mine away. I don't recall the measurements but it made a nice lap quilt.

    40"X80"..........assuming 40" long strips of usable fabric--2 1/2" wide strips (1/2" seam allowances *1/4" on each side of a strip*) 40 strips finishing at 2" = 80"

If you are talking out the 1600 inch race quilt it it about 50 in. x 64 inches.

No idea, I haven't made one. Others above know the size. If you need to be bigger just add a border or two all the way around it.

An alternative to bordering it is to slash the assembled strips roughly 1/3 of the way in and insert a panel to increase the width. You can do some fancy quilting or some applique on the insert to increase visual interest.

If you add borders, it will fit a twin.

I am waiting for my first jelly roll strips to arrive from Hancock's of Paducah. It has been a long time in coming. But the quilt pattern Mocha Kiss Tonga Treat from Timeless Treasure is 48" x 54". Free on their website.
