    Default Jinny Beyer Perfect Piecer

I am looking for a shop that still has a Jinny Beyer Perfect Piecer in stock!

Does anyone know where I can find one?

I use to have one but gave it away. It looked like a torture instrument to me. Never could figure out how to use it. I see one or two on our guild's free table every now and then. I"ll keep a look out for one.

Boy, if I had one you could have it. So far they seem to be out of reach anywhere I've looked.

Looks like an interesting concept to help with piecing and the 1/4 inch seam.

I use a regular ruler and mark the 1/4 inch seam line. The line helps me hit the target seam line or an intersection when it really counts. I also use a 1/4 inch foot with a guide on the edge.

I have seen one within the last two weeks somewhere...just can't remembr where. It stuck in my mind because of the odd shape and recall that I tried to figure it out. If it comes to me, I'll let you know.

Marti Michell has a similar product, although not as many angles. You can find it at frommarti.com and Amazon. (And other places I'm sure.) She calls hers the Deluxe Corner Trimmer.

may I ask why you are looking for it? Collectors item? If it's to perfect the handsewn 1/4" there are many easier ways. Inklingo comes to mind first.
Had one gifted, threw it away.

Kalama, I was looking for a tool that would have a tiny hole to mark the 1/4" seamline location to use when making stars and diamonds, and this one was recommended.

The recommendation I go with the Marti Mitchell Deluxe Corner Trimmer is a good one...saves me having to buy templates in all sizes for odd shapes like 45o diamonds.

I took the Simply Stars workshop from Alex Anderson a couple of decades ago. She drilled a hole with a power drill in my ruler to mark the 1/4” corner. If you are handy, this might help.
