I just got the email with Jinny Beyer's newest quilt showing off this year's colors, and now I am the proud owner-to-be of a new quilt kit!!! I love her colors, and can hardly wait until I have time to actually put them together.

She really is the master of color. And I really like the strips that make up the larger diamonds (much easier than the regular Lone Star layout).

Still, it's a lot of work. Enjoy the sewing!

That email is so bad on my resolve to not purchase fabric for 3 months; if I could just make myself not open it...lol. I love her colors and patterns.

It is stunning, my jaw dropped when I saw it. The pattern is available for free on the sight but I would never be able to pick the colors like she can. Wow.

Actually, the quilt kit I bought is called Spectrum and is the weekly web special. I just looked at the link posted, and there is no way I could even imagine doing that one :!: It's incredible!

    Ah, my bad.

    Also very cool.

I think she does one of these every year - something with a patch of each color in her current (or recent) collections.

I still have her Portable Palettes that I bought, like, 9 years ago. Even though I'm not using her fabrics, not are the colors her most recent, it's still really very helpful in putting together color/value combinations.

That is a beautiful quilt. Probably never get to try it though looks complicated. The colours are spectacular. What a beautiful range of fabric.

MTS, thanks for posting the link. I haven't quite figured out how to do all that yet. I bought a similar kit 2 years ago, which is still on my to-do list. 24 more days!

I wanted to buy that kit also. I have to wait until I use more of the fabric in my collection.

I choked at the first link, price and degree of difficulty. The second one is stunning, almost makes me dizzy. Well, maybe I'm just dizzy anyway. Really excited for you.

24 days until retirement.....you will love it!
