I stopped in about 620 am a nurse and our office opened 830. Chose snuggle flannel for a chenille baby gift quilt for friend at work, total cost under 12$. Was out in under an hour. To work early that is the only way would venture into Black Friday.

My hat is off to all you brave souls that did shopping in person!!! It took 6 hours of getting bumped online, but I finally got what I wanted...and work was slow anyway, so I didn't mind...too much. ;) My DH and daughter went in to Joanns for a zipper. (I get to change the zipper in her coat today so she has it to take back to college with her tomorrow.) They were in and out in about 10 minutes. 5 tills going, so once a person got to that point, it was pretty quick.....plus it was about 2:00pm by then so the worst of the crowds were done.

That is a great black Friday shopping story Jodimarie. Don't you just love it when everything works out great like that. I went online today for the black Saturday sales and one of the items was mis-priced. I called them and they fixed my order right away and my black Saturday shopping is done and I didn't even leave my livingroom.

I got online to buy the bendable light (50% off) and just as I was about to complete the order the Web site crashed!! Well, I went to my daughters, did errands and came back and tired again. It was still down but found my way in through a different link. I finally completed my order and I'm a happy woman. I've always wanted one of those lights and I loved that I got it for such a good price. I also used the Free Shipping code so I didn't have to pay for shipping!
