The Accuquilt Go at $199 is a good deal, if you don't already have one. Other than the Christmas tree at $35 and fleece at $2.99, I am not seeing any exceptionally great bargains.

Maybe I have just been too busy shopping this past year, lol, because I am not as excited by the sale as in previous years.

Where do I read about the different sales that start at different times? I've read the main sales, on bfads.net, but are there others? I'm ALL about the fleece sales!! :)
I also need fleese to make a tied quilt for a gift. Last year JoAnn's had fleece on Black Friday for 2.99/yard. I haven't seen the ad yet but hope they have that sale again this year--otherwise I'm going to Mill End Textiles in Sioux Falls and they are advertising all their regular priced fabrics are 50% off that day. (Believe me, I have a list of fabrics I need for various projects!!) Can't wait--I love to get good deals on Black Friday.
Flannel $1.29 and Fleece I think $2.99, but not licensed prints....drat! I need some Strawberry Shortcake fleece!

I don't do Black Friday. I do most of my shopping online. I hate the crowds. We are trying to cut back on Christmas gifts. I am just making things for my Granddaughter and Daughter and Son-In-Law.

Amen!!! Then add the customers that won't take a number because "I just have a simple question" then take up the clerk's time to discuss a humongous problem & has her running around the store looking for items. grrrrrr! No wonder tensions are so high during sales times!!! :hunf:

I have saved a shopping cart on Joanns.com with BF sale items, and printed it out. I am saving gas and doing my Joann'sBlack Friday shopping online. Shipping charges are cheaper than gas, as joann's is 35 miles from here and in Dover, DE, land of tax free shopping. I am trying other stores on line and see how it goes, yankee candle is $5 shipping, and I have a buy 2 get 2 large candle or tumblers coupon. the code is WXF011h1. it expires on 11.28. hope someone would like this info.

I just rec'd my flyer this morning. They cut the hour to hour sales a couple of years ago and made them daily sales. It was crazy trying to stamp everyone's hands with different colored stamps to prove when they came in the door. Now, they are all-day doorbusters. The stores only receive a certain number of those items so if there is something you REALLY can't miss, that's when I'd suggest going early. One year, we had almost no one in the store until after they left the malls.

They would ring a bell for their "bell-ringer" specials in some dept. of the store---which meant a STAMPEDE! Woe to you if you were in an aisle! I was just lucky I had left the children playing at a friend's house. I had bruises all over....

My DD does. She starts at about 2:00am and shops all night then sleeps all day after she is done. That is so nuts to me
