That's sad. Both Joann's and Hancocks here carry a TON of quilting fabrics.

It also works in reverse...our JoAnns match the coupons and the sales flyers for the same products as Hancocks.
I had a Hancock sales flyer in my hand while shoppimng at Joanns and pointed to the fleece that was on sale and JoAnns matched their price.
There are a lot of retail stores that do that, it is an unwritten clause and unadvertised. Everyone knows that Walmart and Best Buy does that but there are others.

Not in Tucson. Joanns takes everyone's coupons. Michael's is picky about which Joanns coupons they take (they're across the street from each other! I'll walk over to Joanns if Michael's won't honor the coupon for the same item!). Hancocks, nope, won't take either. I asked and the guy checking me out looked at me strangely. I got rotary blades really really cheap (50% off and retail price less than Joanns and Michaels), but I'm not a huge fan of the Hancocks here. Kinda a weird, dark, not a lot of stuff store

The manager at our local Hancock's won't even come down off a ladder to assist her loyal customers....I doubt she would take another store's coupons. Not friendly, not helpful. We only go there when we have to.

I dont know because ours will go through hoops for you in helping you order fabric and what not. I just figure it just good ol' Southern Hospitality!!

Just found out last weekend that the Hancock's here in Council Bluffs, IA WILL take coupons from JoAnn's. I couldn't believe it at first, but it came from my class instructor/employee. SO...people in Council Bluffs/Omaha area..give it a try. I know I will be trying it out soon.

Our Michael's will also take the Joann's coupons, they have a good selection of rulers and notions.
