I finally recieved my coupons in the mail after signing up for them about 3 times. To use the coupon commotion for 40% can they be used more than one coupon in a day as long as you have one item per coupon for each of the items?

I was looking at the flyer that I just got and the coupons.
The flyer says that the sales are good from Sept.12 to Oct.2. The coupons are for Sept. 19-25 and some for Sep. 26 to Oct. 2. Well there is a fabric already on sale through those dates. What good are the coupons for if you can't use it for the sale items also?

Maybe we need to petion Joanns and ask that they don't have so many sales at one time or not have the coupons for those items they have on sale. Or even better yet LET US USE the coupons even if it is on sale. But then they would probably make the coupons only 10% to 20% off.

Definitely have to be creative when the big sales come around. Often end up buying little things. I noticed that the 108" quilt backing isn't on sale - 2 yds will do a twin size quilt - at 50% off - that's $10 and no piecing.
I also use the coupons for things like the magnetic book marks, magnetic strip roll and crafty stuff for my preschool son and his cousins. That's how I keep construction paper in the house - Joann's coupons.

I often don't use my JA coupons, but if I happen to be at Joann's and have valid coupons in my purse, sometimes I'll use them on something NOT currently on sale that I know I will eventually use, such as rotary blades or machine needles, etc. Sometimes there is nothing on the notions wall that I want, so I leave the store empty handed. Over the years, since Joann's store came to our neighborhood, I have saved hundreds of $$$ by using their coupons and I hope they continue to issue them on a regular basis; I don't get upset over the ones I can't use & which therefore end up in the trash. Sometimes I give them to other customers who CAN use them.

Suits me. They can run my little debit card through that little machine as long as they want to stand there!

One other place to get almost thigh high (haven't measured it for a long time) with clean white paper on a roll is from your local newspaper office. My local one has the rolls from that days' printing in the front, usually 3 to 5 dollars depending on size. One thin roll has lasted me for 5 or 6 years, plus being used for clothes patterns and some children's play. About the same amount left at least.
