A few months ago, someone suggested a site from which to order John James Gold'nGlide needles. I don't remember from where I ordered them. The needles I bought were "Big Eye Quilting" but I was wondering if there is such a thing as a round eye for quilting needles. Can't seem to find such a thing. These big-eye needles always mess up the thread when threading, but I do like John James.

I got mine in person at the Satin Moon Quilt Shop in Victoria, B.C. and I know they have an on-line shop if you can't find them closer.

I also like the John James brand, but I think they don't offer needles with a bigger and rounder eye. In my experience the Roxanne needles have a bigger eye.

Yes, they are strong. I don't know where to purchase them in US but as I see you've already got some suggestions!

    :)
