Vera39760, you are doing an awesome job with the S at S. So many pretties. I'd better get off of here and get to my machine.

I've been making scrap buggy wheel blocks all weekend. Finally laid out all of them, been working on them since January and I hope to have them done by mid-March. I didn't get all the contrast I would like between my darks and lights but I think eventually the quilting will bring out the pattern.

I am working on a casserole carrier with trivets and pot holders that match. Hopefully I can figure out an oven mitt that is long enough to cover almost to the elbow. All my own and a dear friend's designs. Will get pics up as soon as I can.

Despite yet another needle breaking on me today, I did get quite a lot done. If I can get as much done tomorrow as I've done today, I might finish quilting the center of my quilt this week *cheers* After that, it's on to the borders.

Can you tell I'm very eager to get this quilt done and off my To Do list? Don't get me wrong, I love it to bits. The further along I am with my quilting, the more it comes alive and it's very exciting. But I've been working on this quilt for a little over three years and I am ready for it to be finished.

The storm at sea is going to be gorgeous! So much movement in that pattern... I've got to try one!

Rebecca, your scrap buggy wheels just knock my socks off! Wow, wow, wow. Is the pattern online?

I am closing the door for this weekend, I am so glad I joined in - helped get me going . I still have corners to quilt, this is a quilt for our Grand-nieces baby due in June They wanted to be surprised so yellow was the choice color, they also painted baby's room yellow. Plan to use center fabric for binding. Hope they like it.

I'm done for the night. Hopefully the morning will be better. My new 8900 is not working and I'm hoping to have some answers by tomorrow so the needle will work again. I did get my embroidery pattern traced today, ripped out the stitches where I had sewn the backing to itself and resewed. Then I finished piecing one quilt and was working on another when the machine needle got stuck in the down position. I could have used another machine but watched "The Lion in Winter" instead See you in the morning.

Really enjoying everyone's pictures, thanks! becca great choice on the new valance! I have one side border pieced but not attached yet, just having my tea break but hopefully I'll get more done so I can share another picture. It's not a "long" weekend for us here in Canada...except for me, because I'm retired.
