Yesterday I took a 'Buggy Barn' quilt class two hours from home. Today I am continuing to make the blocks. I am chaining the blocks together, so I only have one block completed so far. Here is my lone block. It's going to have snowballs in the corners.

I just saw this invitation... I've been putting together a quilt top all weekend, for a wedding gift for a June 1st wedding. Here are photos of my progress. I hope to get the top totally together today. This is a Bento Box quilt.

The first two photos show my piecing in stages from yesterday... and the third is where I am today.

I am about done for the day. Expecting company after dinner, so need to straighten up a bit and fix my dinner. I will continue on my stuff tomorrow. Everyone did a fantastic job. I didn't get enough done to post pics of anything.

It is 10.30pm here so I think I will call it a day. have managed to piece 6 blocks and the other 6 just need one seam, I may do them before I go to bed. Then tomorrow I will trim the blocks and put them into rows. Sewbizgirl, love your colours. Thanks everyone for your company hopefully I will be able to post a picture tomorrow of the completed top.

I have not been posting but have been sewing! Here's a top from a FQ pack that I could not resist. I wanted a jumble of color so I made a Turning 12. I also made four blocks for another quilt that I will post a little later. Didn't get as much done as I wanted but I did get something done, so that's good.

I have gotten a few more squares quilted. I still have a few hours before I go to bed. Dishes are done, laundry is in and there are a couple of shows that I want to watch so off to quilt some more.

About time for me to quit for the day. All 130 HSTs are seamed for the center of the quilt top. Now calculating the sashing and borders hoping I have enough fabric for each.

Tomorrow is another free day so I will try to cut and sew all 3 borders.

I always enjoy a Virtual Quilt Day as I work more and still follow everyone else's progress. See ya next time.
