I figured I would start this thread now so overseas people will have it for Friday as well. For those who haven't participated in VQ before, we post on this thread what we're working on (pictures too if possible) and encourage each other. I started my weekend a little early and worked on some stuff this afternoon. I finally finished the hand binding on two small wall hangings and sewed my husband's Green Bay Packers fleece blanket. What are you working on?

I just rearranged my kitchen/ dining room so I can set my frame up this weekend!! I had to move my dining room table to put the frame against the only 10 ft wall in my house. This also forced me to clean a little so I have a nice place to sew and iron too! I will put up photos when I get something worth looking at done lol. Can't wait to see what everyone else is doing!

I'm in. I've been really dithering this week on getting anything done. The freezing weather sort of froze my brain as well! I'm 2 steps behind in the Bonnie Hunter mystery, and step 3 will be posted tomorrow!

I've started early too, I guess. I just finished one of the top two stars to catch up with a quilt along I'm participating in. The stars will be set on point when the top is assembled.

Thanksgiving, and a couple of other projects had put me a little bit behind. I don't think the next star pattern comes out until Sunday, so I'll work on a Labyrinth Star quilt that needs final borders and backing while I wait. I would also like to get that quilt loaded on the frame. No picture yet. The top needs pressing. It's been sitting folded up on a shelf for awhile.

I've just finished a quilt this evening but have labels to make for them and I think my weekend will mostly be spent cleaning the house as it's been badly neglected these past few weeks. I also need to put up the Xmas tree which causes its own form of chaos! I have though been asked to make a large African quilt/wall hanging for a fundraiser in the spring. I think, I might try and decide what to do with the fabrics I've chosen. Does thst count?

Would love to join in but have three Christmas parties and a birthday party this weekend. Will be lucky if I see my sewing machine.

As usual, I have several things going on: 3 Christmas gifts and a charity quilt. I am going to try to finish the charity quilt and one present, a purse. have been fighting bronchitis and asthma, so I am unsure how realistic that is.
