    I am going to try the bobbin on top and bottom, that sounds much easier to do. Thanks for the tip.-- J.

    that's one reason i love my viking it beeps when my bobbin is getting to the end wonderful feature has saved me many times

    That has never happened to me. I always have just a couple of inches of thread left in my bobbin after I finish my seam. IN MY DREAMS!! Welcome to the club!
