I roared with laughter over this one! You have a good spirit in spite of your challenges. More power to you!

I guess there are lots of us with Ms who love quilting.
It would be interesting to hear from all of you with the tricks you use to be able to overcome the problems MS gives you.

    tip #1
My husband built me a pressing board which just fits on my lap (a 12"x12" board that I padded and cut a ironing board cover to fit, stapled on) so I would not have to get up or move from my sewing machine to press. I put the iron on a table that I can reach.

I dont know if you have money in the budget for a new machine, but they have ones that start with a button. I have some friends with handicaps who really like them.

That's just to funny. Poor dog and you have a lot of determination to get the dog to finally move. Good Luck. Sue

tip #2 If you have problems controlling the footpedal try putting the front of your foot on a brick or thick book and operate footpedal with your heel.

I don't have MS, but know that when life presents you with challenges finding the humor in a situation helps to get you through it.

    Don't ever lose that

Thanks for sharing. It is encouraging to know that I am not alone. I have MS also. Some days my foot is numb and I can't use the sewing machine either....that's when I hand quilt. Keep your sense of humor, I find it is the best medicine to get through the bad days. :)
