    Default Judy Martin Patterns

I have been intriqued by some of Judy Martin's quilt patterns/ books and would love to hear how difficult they are to follow. Sre the instructions confusing/ pretty self-explanatory? I consider myself an advanced beginner/early intermediate quilter. I was looking at the "Shakespeare in the Park" pattern as well as some of her patterns in the LogCabin Quilt book.

I ahve done some of her patterns although it has been a while. If I am remembering correctly I didn't have any issues. She also has a website I believe and there may be some hints, etc out there.

I am a fan of Judy Martins patterns , they are very well thought out and detailed. She gives wonderful directions. As with any pattern or directions , take the time to read all of the information before you cut into any fabrics.

I've got 3-4 books by Judy martin. And I will say, I'm very very happy with her book. What I like about her books, she will give you the measurements, on sq's--1/2 sq, Quilt top lay out. As Lori s, says wonderful directions.

I agree with all the above. Judy Martin writes clear directions, and she goes the extra mile to tell you why she does things in a certain way.

The instructions are well-written, clear and easy to follow. Some of the patterns are more difficult. I have her log cabin book, and she rated each pattern's difficulty level. I'm not sure if she did that in all of her books.

I am wondering the same thing. But I'll head over to her website and see if I can figure it out.
