Juki accessories and table
I decided to order the Juki 2010 instead of the Horizon 8900 due to the feedback from this board. Has any one brought extra feet or accessories for this machine. I would like a SITD foot. Also I want to order a table that the machine would fit in. thanks for any suggestions

I haven't gotten a stitch in the ditch foot, but do have the Gidget 2 table. It's great, but small and I still use a plastic table along side it.
I LOVE my Juki!!! It's been perfect since I took it out of the box!

I know you will love your Juki! I love mine. I haven't ordered any extra feet. A SITD foot would be nice. Something I learned on mine.Of the feet that come with the machine, the 1/4 inch foot with the guide is a fat 1/4 inch and the standard foot that has two "forks" on it, if you line up the edge, that's a scant 1/4". Happy Sewing!

I purchased a Janome convertible Free Motion quilting foot set, part # 767-433-004. It doesn't have a sitd foot but it still may interest you. I prefer the open toe foot in this set for FMQ.
I have the machine in an original Gidget II table. I bought a custom acrylic insert that allows me to use the knee lift w it. (I discovered that not all inserts allow for this). I'm very happy w this setup.
I hope this info helps

I love, love, love my Juki HZL-400. The only thing I wish was that the harp was larger...that and the built in accufeed foot are the only things about my Janome Horizon 7700 that is better.. I mean I do like my 7700.. But I was blown away by how quiet and smooth the Juki is... And it was about a fourth of the price.
Granted if it had an 11" bed, the price would've been a lot more...minor details..lol
I haven't ordered any extra feet for my Juki, so can't help on that.
Enjoy your new machine!
