I thought I would post to this thread to let you all know that I had to send my machine in for service. No matter how I worked with it, the machine thread cutter just cut the threads too short, resulting in unthreading of the needle. I finally just had enough and mailed it in for service. I am waiting for the machine to come back and work correctly. It is not something I could put up with.

Keep us updated when your machine gets back JudyLee. Mine worked fine for a while now does it every now and then. I think you're right, I'm not sure the tension has anything to do with it. No amount of fiddling does the trick.
