So I tried these sheets for paper piecing, great in in the printer.But I'm now having a terrible time getting it off. I was hoping someone here knows the secret. Instructions don't even address removal at all. In the past I used tracing paper which worked well but sometimes jammed in the printer or ink smeared. Thanks in advance for any tips you can share....Donna

I don't think you are supposed to take those off. The package that I purchased was kind of like a non-woven fabric.

Instructions say 20 stitches per inch to neatly tear away, 10 stiches to leave in. Maybe I better count my stitches....lol

Any time I do paper piecing I shorten up my stitches so the paper tears better - sorry you are having problems

U do have to shorten stitches to have paper tear! Good luck!

try spritzing a scrap with water to see if that softens it up a bit.

I just tried this and my test block, I also experienced the same thing. I changed the stitch length ( smallest stitch possible ) and found it worked better. I just read today that if you take the handle of your scissors and rub back en forth along the stitching it weakens the paper. Another option is to try a different brand of paper. I found that to also work better. I'm getting ready to order some Carol Doak foundation paper ( she's suppose to be the super star of paper piecing). I have a friend that uses regular copier paper all the time.. its cheaper
