I am devoted to my Plus and the 12", I use both all the time. When I am cutting a lot for a quilt, etc. I use the Plus as it lets me make more cuts at a time. When I am squaring up blocks, just cutting a few, trimming, etc. I use the 12" as it is less bulky to move around. My cutting table is an old dresser that I redid and it has the shallow top drawer. This drawer is where I keep my larger rulers, cutters, etc. It's very handy and convenient.

Just a word to all who have experienced the breakage that often seems to happen to the Shape Cuts on that outer corner. It is a very easy, and permanent repair to just use super glue to reattach that broken place. My DH has repaired both of mine and it has lasted over a year so far.
Also, a reminder that I think this particular breakage comes from a bad habit of picking the ruler up by that bottom corner only! I know that is true in my case. I am trying hard to break that habit and always pick it up by both sides.

I have the 12 inch and love it. I didn't even know they made different sizes. I've had mine a long time.

BUT the CG Stripology ruler is slightly less wide than the JTs so I find that the strips I cut often don't cut all the way to the end. I usually have about 1/8" that the blade can't reach unless I am VERY persnickety when I fold for cutting. So I have to add a step of snipping my strips apart. For a timesaving device, adding a step is really bothersome.

As to storage of my rulers, my cutting table is two portable 4' folding tables end to end raised to their highest level. Where their legs meet in the middle is where my rulers live standing upright between them. Very convenient!
I have the same problem with the Creative Grids Stripology Rulers. Wish they were just 1/8 in wider! But I love the the markings on the bottom. The different symbols make it so much easier.
