I think this is great. I know that we all would love to have some of these machines out there but I can only afford one car payment at a time but there are nice machines that we can afford. When I started sewing again a few years ago I went to sears and got mispriced 500 machine for 200; it's a kenmore/janome and I love it. It's not finicky; it doesn't care what type of thread I use or what type of needle; never needs oiling and has lots and lots of different stitchs that I can program in. I still droll over some of the machines now but the one I got is better than my older singer (25yrs) and it makes me happy and always does the job. Enjoy your new toy.
