Old age, underwear, fabric stashes, they're all so good at creeping up.

Some of us go to a lot of LQS to make sure it creeps up on us! :D

I always buy lots of fabrics when I shop and of course, now I have much more than I will ever be able to sew into quilts.

Between the leftovers and the "not quite right" fabric choices there must be 50 yards of material in the closet plus the five quilt kits I have scheduled myself to make this year. That doesnt count the full hamper of scraps.

I "clean" my sewing room between each quilt, re-organizing everything before I start the next project.

But the past four quilts had tight deadlines so I just threw all the fabric in the closet and closed the door. I decided I felt disorganized so I had to clean that closet and there's a good three bins of extra fabric in there.

I guess I have more sewing to do than I thought. Everyone may just get a scrappy lap quilt for Christmas this year!
I would love a scrappy.

It's all about choices! If you have 15 greens in your stash, surely you will have just the right one without going to the LQS!
