Enjoy your new Bernina. It looks like a nice machine and it should serve you well.

Congrats! You'll love that Bernina. Consider joining the Bernina yahoo group "Bernina Land". I think the 350PE is very straightforward, so the class ought to get you sewing just fine.

Congrats. My bernina is an older one. I got her about 12 years ago. The 153QE. I love her.

Thanks, pieces2. I probably don't clean as often as I should and have always used a brush, not a q-tip. I'll try that.

Thanks, maiaB. I'll see about this group. Sounds like I could get some real good ideas.

Good for you and great for you that they gave you credit for the entire cost of your old machine. I have suffered for 6 years with a brother that also wasn't quilting friendly. Got a new Bernina last month and have been in heaven.

It looks like you will really love your new baby! Did you get the knee lifter with it? If not, I would suggest you invest in that and a single hole needleplate for freemotion quilting. It is so nice to be able to lift the presser foot with your knee while still keeping control of your quilt with your hands. And the single hole plate will help with eyelashing on the back. Congrats!
