Well, last year the STUPID robins were walking on the snow. They always seem to send out a scout or two. I never thought robins were too bright.

The mesquite trees aren't budding yet....that's the only way to distinguish a false spring with the real deal in Texas. Tried and true. When they bud...you know it's spring!!!

We are getting a touch of Spring here the last two days. Temps in the 50s! I don't remember having such highs in Feb. before. But we had over 80" of snow on the ground with no thaw up until now so I'm so glad to see some of it melting! MOre coming though.

Yesterday it was in the 60's, the same weather should be in Ohio today. I had 5 robins on my roof. I have 4 projects to get done and then I am going to buy my first charm set and make a table runner. I cut lots and lots of material for my charity quilts. It will be my spring gift to myself.

Wow - Robins in Ohio already! We are retired to Central FL from MI and sometime in March we will have thousands of Robins on rooftops and on lawns on their trek back north. It is a site to see!
