Warm recently in NC. My daffodils, and tulips are pushing up . The Bradford Pear tree has tiny green buds.

Good sign that Spring is coming. I used to watch for the robins when we lived in Denver. We used to get as many as a dozen of them in our yard. :-D

we have had some gorgeous weather the past 3 days and it's really getting me revved up to sew and to go outside.
Thinking about taking my machine on the back porch!
Course I'll have to deal with my kitty cats on the table, but the birds, the sun, the fresh air...it's all out there too :XD:
    Enjoy your day! :D

We have had robbins all winter here this year. Even through the sub-zero & blizzard weather. I think that they came from further north & couldn't make it any further south than Chicago. They have been eating tiny crab apples that were left on the neighbor's tree.

I guess my mystery of what that poor robin I saw last Sunday could eat here in NH has been solved! I thought they just ate worms and bugs. Am glad to hear they can eat things off trees too. Come to think of it, he was sticking close to a tree with a lot of other birds. Maybe the tree had some berries or something. Today is beautiful here in Manchester NH. Up in the 60's. However, the weatherman, a person who takes glee in reporting bad news ;) says we are in for some more freezing weather this weekend. Oh well, winter sticks long and hard here in the northeast! Makes summer that much sweeter!

We are at 72* right now and have had Spring type weather this past week, This after a snow storm a week ago with 8" of snow. Hopefully Spring is here to stay. But I will not hold my breath.

It has been up to 72º today here. Had to work all day but stepped out back to make phone call on cell. Saw 8 squirrels chasing each other from one tree to the next then into the wooded area, then back out. It was hilarious. Lots of chattering in with it. Haven't seen any blooms yet on peach trees or red bud.
