Was the "stack and whack" already cut into the shapes you need?
For some reason Christmas fabric does not seem to have uglies in it....but other seasons might..

Some days I'm on, and some days I'm off. I love the look of the bali packs. I pay $54.50 for a pack,(that's a lot for me) they are hand cut and quite often you find about 5% are quite crooked !!!! that torques me !!! Then we get layer cakes into the store, all wrapped in shrink wrap ( I don't know what it is really wrapped in) but you can only see the top fabric, and you can't see what the other umpteen fabrics look like ! What's up with that ?????????? Like I'm going to buy a layer cake only seeing the top fabric ! Charm squares, I like them if I can see ALL the fabric, I've made lots of bags that are charm square friendly. We quite often get charm packs, layer cakes etc. along with bolts of matching fabrics, so you can control and mix and match all you want !!!! It's great to be me !!!!!!!!!

nope you are not alone on this one. I have only bought a couple of fat 1/4's but even then I still haven't used them, not enough of one color to do what I wanted so I ended up going back and buying yardage instead.

I have just bought myself charms packs and strips - I AM ECSTATIC as i have such a variety of fabrics in the set that will add so much more to my quilt if i had had to use what i have in stock. I also like to do my own thing, but the time saved allows me to do more creating or at the moment the HOUSE BOM

Is your avatar also an appliqued quilt?
