Tonight I have been quilting a tablerunner and noticed that my mouth kept getting so dry. Than I noticed that when I am doing the quilting I have my mouth wide open. LOL. No wonder it was getting dry. So I keep trying to keep it closed but when I'm not paying attention it's wide open again. Guess it's just going to be that way when I'm quilting. At least I've learned to keep my fingers out of the way. Got them twice tonight. Well hope everyone has gotten their Christmas presents all made and can now enjoy the next week. Merry Christmas.

My mouth has been extremely dry lately but that is because I cannot breathe through my nose right now and so I have been incredible parched lately because of this :(

lol! That makes me think of little kids with their tongue out to one side when they're concentrating.

It is like being a little kid sometimes and playing with fabric. Maybe it's a creative thing.

Usually when my mouth is wide open it's because I'm snoring!!

I always keep a big glass of some sort of liquid in my sewing room, maybe it's the fabric dust or the thread dust or the steam ironing, but it seems I'm perpetually thirsty.

Well, this seems related anyway... I find when I am concentrating on my quilting, I puff my cheeks up with air! I have no idea I am doing it or know why! I have even found myself doing this when I am sewing with the guild or friends or in a class at the quilt shop! I must look ridiculous!

I would rather have my cheeks puffed up with air than my mouth agape.
Makes me think of duct tape. I heard this on the radio --- there is a patch to quit smoking, a patch for birth control, a patch for etc, etc, etc. What kind of patch can you get for weight control? The other announcer said 'duct tape'. Since duct tape comes in such brilliant colors, we could be fashionable with purple tape over our mouths...........

I try to hum or sing while I FM quilt so I don't get tensed up.
