I'll bet United Notions was absolutely inundated with blocks.
I laughed when I saw that they wanted 1800 blocks - if they don't end up with 18,000, I would be surprised. I think even 180,000 isn't out of the realm of possibility. I don't think they understood what they unleashed when they put out a request for blocks on the internet.
Guilds and sewing groups and classes and stores all over the country were sending in HUNDREDS of blocks and even finished quilts.
Their goal was to make 100 quilts from the blocks sent in, but I'll bet they got way more than 100 finished quilts.
Like you, I'm very interested in seeing what they end up with. :)

I can tell you from my poll that over 500 were sent by quilters on this board + their guilds & families :thumbup: but haven't found a site where Moda has posted about it. Maybe they're waiting for Memorial Day or Veterans Day or......
