We will be spending time in Nova Scotia next summer. Can you give me some hints on good quilting places to go?

We live in Maine and will be taking our camper/trailer and two airedales.

Congrats. Even though it wasn't much per hour, you did get enjoyment from making it, too. Terrific.

give you an idea in selling quilts to people. Always get at least half of what you are asking for the quilt before you start making it because I have had people not want to pay me after I finish the quilt.

I remember the first quilt I sold. I had bought a kit off e-bay. It was a crib size baby quilt that I was going to make for my future baby. I paid $35 for the quilt kit. I got it pieced together and I had taken it to church to show it iff to the ladies. I had no intention of giving it away. One of the ladies absolutely loved it and wanted to buy it for someone's baby shower. I didn't know what to charge, so I just asked for what I had paid for the kit. Turns out I had enogh fabric left from the kit to make another one. Basically, I got a quilt for free!! I ended up giving that one away too, so I never did get a quilt for me. I have used the pattern 2 other times, so I think I got my money's worth. Congratulations on that first sale!! may there be many more in your future!
